ACK Baffle Type Grease Filters
Applications
Used in kitchen extraction canopies for the ventilation of food preparation areas where they function to prevent flames and reduce grease travelling from the cooking areas up into the extract duct.
For tough commercial applications to provide maximum permanent protection against rust and corosion and also a safe, dependable flame barrier. These filters will not flex or twist like other filters even after dropping and are cleaned by soaking, spraying or by using conventional dishwashers.
Construction
The filters are made from rolled channel frames with safety edges. Each blade overlaps the opposite one and the grease drains down the blades and through drain holes into a collection tray provided in the kitchen canopy.

ACK Wire Mesh Type Grease Filters
Applications
Used in kitchen extraction canopies for the ventilation of food preparation areas where they function to reduce grease travelling from the cooking areas up into the extract duct.
Construction
These filters are made from rolled channel frames with safety edges. Sandwiched between the frame edges are layers of interwoven expanded mesh.

ACK Disposable Pre-Filter to Bag Panels
Glass Fibre Media Grade G3
Applications
Used as a pre-filter to bag filters. Also for general heating and air conditioning.
Construction
Disposable panel filter made with a water resistant card frame and grade spun glass fibre media. The glass fibre is oiled to improve dust holding and efficiency. Made from recycled materials.

Type 100 Panel Filter Grade G3
Applications
Used as a pre-filter to bag filters. Also for general heating and air conditioning.
Construction
Disposable panel filter with both a water resistant card frame and retaining face. The Type 100 uses 100% thermally bonded polyester filter media which is flame retardant.

ACK Carbon Bag Filters
Applications
As an odour reducer in non-critical applications.
Construction
Activated carbon impregnated bag filters with a rolled galvanised steel safety edge. These bag filters are made with a 100% synthetic media which is impregnated with a high grade activated carbon powder.

ACK Carbon Cell Filters
Applications
These filters are manufactured for ease of installation and incorporation into ducted air systems. They can be used on both supply for purifying incoming air, and also used on the extract to remove toxic gasses and odours.
Construction
These modules are manufactured by mounting a series on carbon panel filters with a sealed case with the filtering surfaces arranged in a “V” formation. Each carbon panel is sealed into the filter case to ensure no air can bypass the carbon granules. The panels are manufactured using bonding techniques which hold the activated carbon granules together and covered in a carbon impreganted cloth to prevent leakage of granules or powder, remaining intact and rigid even if wet.
